Open Access Statement

Jurnal Dharmaputra Hukum Kesehatan (JDHK) is a fully Diamond Open Access journal. All articles are freely available to readers immediately upon publication, without subscription fees, registration requirements, or any other access barriers. There are no Article Processing Charges (APC) for authors, and no submission fees of any kind.

JDHK fully endorses the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI, 2002) and is committed to maximising the dissemination of scholarly work in medical law, bioethics, and health regulation for the benefit of researchers, practitioners, patients, and policymakers worldwide.

Article Processing Charges (APC)
There are NO fees to publish in JDHK

JDHK does not charge authors any submission fees, article processing charges (APC), page charges, colour charges, or any other publication-related fees — at any stage of the editorial process.

The costs of publishing JDHK are fully borne by RSUD Wangaya, Kota Denpasar, as part of its institutional commitment to advancing medical law scholarship in Indonesia. This Diamond OA model ensures that high-quality publication remains accessible to all authors regardless of their funding or institutional affiliation.

Self-Archiving Policy (Green OA)

JDHK supports the rights of authors to share and archive their work. Authors are permitted to self-archive versions of their manuscript at any stage, with no embargo period:

Pre-print
Allowed

The unreviewed manuscript as submitted to JDHK may be posted to personal websites, institutional repositories, or preprint servers (e.g., SSRN, OSF) at any time before, during, or after review.

Accepted manuscript
Allowed

The peer-reviewed, accepted manuscript (post-print) may be deposited immediately in institutional or subject repositories with acknowledgement of the original publication in JDHK.

Published version (VoR)
Allowed

The final published PDF (Version of Record) may also be deposited and shared immediately, as it is freely available under CC BY 4.0. No embargo applies.

When self-archiving, authors should include the following attribution: "Originally published in Jurnal Dharmaputra Hukum Kesehatan (JDHK), [Volume], [Issue], [Year]. DOI: [doi]. Available at https://dmedlaw.org"

Embargo Period

JDHK imposes no embargo period. All accepted manuscripts are made freely and fully available online upon publication, with no delay. There is no restricted-access period before articles become open access.

Digital Preservation and Archiving

JDHK is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of published content. The journal employs the following archiving strategies to ensure permanent availability of the scholarly record:

PKP Private LOCKSS Network

Content preserved via the Public Knowledge Project's LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) network.

Institutional Server

All content is hosted on institutional servers managed by RSUD Wangaya with regular automated backups.

DOI via Crossref

Persistent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are assigned through Crossref, ensuring permanent citation links.

Google Scholar Indexing

Articles are indexed by Google Scholar, ensuring discoverability and providing an additional copy of article metadata.
